Hello, I’m Alex and I spend far too much time and money on bicycles. I don’t claim to be the best or fastest cyclist on earth, but I spend long enough in the saddle to form my own opinions on all sorts of cycling related matters.
Alexgoesforaride was originally started to document my 2014 Land’s End to John O’Groats ride, but both time and my cycling ambitions have moved on from there and so has this blog. Now you’ll find a collection of my thoughts on various loosely cycling related topics, from equipment to training, racing to food.
As you can probably tell, I don’t get paid to write anything here, good or bad, but hopefully you find what I do write both interesting and informative. If there’s anything you want my opinion on, feel free to comment on a post or maybe I’ll learn how to add a contact form one day.
Alternatively, if you don’t fancy getting in touch, just feel free to anonymously pop by for a read every now and again.
